What MyPoints is
MyPoints is a get-paid-to (GPT) and rewards site. Members earn Points for everyday online activity, and the Points are later redeemed for gift cards, travel miles or PayPal cash.
It is owned and operated by Prodege, LLC, a California company. The site's terms of use and its footer copyright notice both name Prodege as the operator, and the MyPoints apps on Google Play and the App Store are also published by Prodege.

How members earn on MyPoints
MyPoints offers several ways to collect Points.
- Shopping online at partner stores after clicking through MyPoints, which works like cashback
- Paid surveys, including a small Point reward even when a member does not qualify to finish one
- Reading BonusMails (partner emails) and shopping from them
- Watching videos
- Magic Receipts, where members upload shopping receipts for in-store offers, limited to a set number of submissions per week
- Deals, including local deals and travel bookings
- Searching the web through MyPoints, with Points awarded at random
- Playing online games offered through MyPoints
- A Refer-A-Friend programme
- A Daily Goal bonus for meeting a personalized daily Points goal
MyPoints also runs a new-member promotion described in its help centre: two qualifying purchases through the site within the first 30 days can earn a set amount of Points, and it advertised a welcome bonus for confirming an email address at the time this page was checked. Promotions like these can change.
How MyPoints pays, and who can join
Points can be redeemed for gift cards and e-certificates from partner brands such as Amazon, Home Depot, CVS and Barnes & Noble, for PayPal cash, for a virtual Mastercard reward card that can also be requested as a plastic card, or for United MileagePlus award miles.
MyPoints does not publish a minimum redemption amount on the help-centre pages checked. Its Google Play listing mentions gift cards in a value range, but that describes reward values shown in the app listing rather than a stated minimum. Only Points marked as available, not pending, can be redeemed.
The sign-up age is 13, or higher where a member's country sets a higher minimum age, and anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian's approval. For PayPal rewards, the name and email on the MyPoints account must exactly match a verified PayPal account.
MyPoints does not publish a list of countries where membership is open. Its terms of use say the service is run from the United States and that Prodege does not state it is available or appropriate outside the United States and the other places it directs the service to. Receipts for Magic Receipts are accepted only from stores and restaurants in the US and Canada, and the reward catalogue includes Canadian-dollar versions of some rewards. On the date this page was checked, a visitor browsing from India saw a notice on the games and paid-surveys pages saying MyPoints was not available in that region.

How PocketsFull differs
PocketsFull is a free rewards site. Members take paid surveys, complete offers such as game and app offers, and redeem the rewards they collect. There is no deposit or payment to join or to earn.
Survey rewards on PocketsFull are added to the member's balance once a survey is completed, and not every survey fits every person, so being screened out before the end happens to everyone. Offers list their own steps, reward and confirmation time, and some offers take between 7 and 30 days to confirm. Keeping the profile complete and accurate helps a member get matched with more surveys.
PocketsFull also has a separate free-games page with browser games that need no download and no sign-up; these are for fun and do not pay rewards. PocketsFull has an Android app on Google Play, and the website also works in a phone browser.
How PocketsFull pays
PocketsFull's redeem screen lists gift cards for the member's own country, along with PayPal and Litecoin. Gift card brands depend on where a member lives, for example Roblox, Amazon and Target in the United States, Roblox, Amazon and The Dining Out in the United Kingdom, or Razer Gold, Steam and GCash in the Philippines.
A redeemed gift card is sent to the email address on the member's account. MyPoints also offers a virtual Mastercard reward card and United MileagePlus miles; PocketsFull does not offer either of those, and its options are gift cards, PayPal and Litecoin.

Frequently asked questions
Is MyPoints legit?
MyPoints is a real rewards programme operated by Prodege, LLC, a company that also runs other GPT sites and publishes terms of use, a help centre and apps on Google Play and the App Store. Whether it suits you depends on your country and how its Points-to-reward rate works, which MyPoints does not fully publish.
How does MyPoints work?
Members earn Points through activities such as shopping via MyPoints links, taking paid surveys, reading partner emails, watching videos, uploading shopping receipts, and playing games offered through the site, then redeem available Points for gift cards, PayPal cash, a reward card or airline miles.
Is MyPoints safe to use?
MyPoints publishes terms of use, a help centre and an identity-verification process for PayPal rewards, and it is run by an established company. As with any rewards site, read the terms for your country before joining, since MyPoints does not publish a list of countries where membership is open.
Does MyPoints have payment proof?
MyPoints does not publish payout proof on the pages checked for this review. Its help centre states delivery times instead: gift cards are stated to be emailed within a few business days, in some cases longer, and PayPal transfers are stated to take up to several business days.
What are some sites like MyPoints?
Other GPT and rewards sites work on a similar model of surveys, offers and other tasks in exchange for redeemable rewards. PocketsFull is one alternative, with free sign-up, paid surveys, offers, and gift card, PayPal and Litecoin options on the redeem screen.
Can I redeem MyPoints rewards with PayPal?
PayPal is listed as a MyPoints reward option, but the name and email on the MyPoints account must exactly match a verified PayPal account. MyPoints does not publish a minimum redemption amount for this or other rewards on the pages checked.
