How to play Spite and Malice
Build the 3 centre stacks starting with an Ace and continuing upward to a Queen, ignoring suits. You can play cards from your left-hand stack, your hand of 5 cards, or the top cards of your 4 discard piles. Only the top card of your stack, your hand cards, and the top discard cards are playable. Your turn ends once you place a hand card onto one of your discard piles.

- Focus on clearing your left-hand stack first, since it holds the most cards you need to get rid of.
- Use your discard piles wisely, they are only useful if you keep their top cards playable for later turns.
