How to play Classic Checkers
Pieces move diagonally forward one square at a time on the dark squares. To capture, jump over an opponent's piece into an empty square directly behind it, removing that piece from the board. If a capture is available, you must take it. When a piece reaches the far end of the board, it becomes a king and can then move diagonally both forward and backward.
