What a "daily earning game" usually means

Most apps and websites advertising a daily earning game fall into two very different categories, and it helps to tell them apart before you install anything.

• Game offers: you install or open a game, play until you reach steps the offer sets (for example reaching a level or playing for a set time), and a reward is added once the offer is confirmed.
• Real-money games: you deposit money or pay an entry fee, play against odds or other players, and hope to win back more than you put in.

The first kind can realistically add a small reward to your account. The second kind is gambling in disguise, whatever the app calls itself, and in India it now sits outside the law for most real-money formats.

What Indian law says about real-money games

The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act 2025 bans online money games, meaning any game where you pay a fee, deposit or stake with an expectation of winning money back, whether the game involves skill or chance. The Online Gaming Rules 2026, in force from 1 May 2026, carry this into practice: offering such games, advertising them, and processing payments for them are all restricted.

Free games without any stake are treated differently and remain allowed as ordinary social or recreational games. This is information, not legal advice, and the rules can change, so check the current position where you live before you play anything that involves money.

No app that asks you to deposit money before you can "win" a daily payout should be trusted, in India or anywhere else.
