Minecraft Gift Card at a glance

About Minecraft

A Minecraft gift card lets players add funds to their Mojang or Microsoft account to spend within the game. Minecraft is a sandbox building and survival game where players mine resources, craft tools and construct worlds, known across the USA for its blocky creativity, multiplayer servers and massive fan community spanning consoles, PC and mobile devices.

What you can use it for

People use a Minecraft gift card to pick up Minecoins, the in-game currency used for skins, texture packs, mash-up bundles and other add-ons in the Minecraft Marketplace. Others use it toward Minecraft itself, including the Java Edition or Bedrock versions, or to support a family member's account without sharing personal payment details.

Minecraft Java Edition and the Bedrock version (used on consoles, Windows and mobile) run on different systems, so how a card applies depends on which edition and account type you're redeeming it to. Check the code's details before applying it to either platform.

Yes, a Minecraft gift card works well as a gift since the recipient can redeem it into their own Mojang or Microsoft account and choose how to use it, whether that's Minecoins or the game itself.
