Winter Solitaire is a winter-themed take on classic Klondike solitaire, playable free in your browser on phone or computer. Your goal is to build up four foundation stacks, one for each suit, starting with Ace and working up to King. Along the way you rearrange cards on the tableau to uncover the ones you need.
How to play Winter Solitaire
Build each of the four foundations from Ace to King. On the tableau, move a card onto another card if it is one value higher and the opposite color, such as placing a red 9 on a black 10. You can also move whole groups of stacked cards at once, as long as they follow that same alternating order, to help uncover hidden cards underneath.
Tips for playing Winter Solitaire
- Try to uncover face-down cards early so you have more options later in the game.
- Look for chances to move a full group of cards at once instead of shifting them one at a time.
- Keep an eye on all four foundations so you don't focus on just one suit while ignoring the others.
