Tic Tac Toe is the classic paper-and-pencil game brought to your screen. You and your opponent take turns marking a grid with your symbol, X or O, trying to line up three in a row before the other player does. This version plays out over 3 rounds, so you get several chances to outsmart your opponent and come out ahead.
How to play Tic Tac Toe
The game board is a 3 by 3 grid of empty squares. Players alternate turns, placing one symbol per turn in any open square. The first player to line up three of their own symbols in a row, column, or diagonal wins that round. Play continues for 3 rounds total, with each round starting from a fresh, empty grid. Whoever wins the most rounds comes out on top.
Tips for playing Tic Tac Toe
- Take the center square early if it is open, since it is part of the most possible winning lines.
- Watch for your opponent's two-in-a-row and block it before placing your own move elsewhere.
- Try to set up two different ways to win at once, so your opponent can only block one.
