About Binairo
Binairo is a logic puzzle played on a grid of 0s and 1s. Your task is to fill every cell so the grid follows a set of number-placement rules. It plays entirely in the browser, with no download needed, and comes in four grid sizes: 6x6, 8x8, 10x10 and 12x12, so you can pick a shorter or longer challenge.
How to play Binairo
Fill each empty cell with a 0 or a 1. No more than two identical numbers can sit directly next to each other in a row or column, whether horizontally or vertically. Each row and each column must end up with an equal count of zeroes and ones. On top of that, no two rows can have the same pattern of numbers, and no two columns can match each other either.
Tips for playing Binairo
- When you spot two of the same number in a row, the cell right next to them must be the opposite number.
- Keep a running count of zeroes and ones in each row and column so you know which one is still needed to balance it.
- Once a row or column is almost full, check it against the others to make sure you are not creating a duplicate pattern.
