Remote jobs and ways to earn money online in Lebanon

Finding remote and freelance jobs in Lebanon

Online jobs in Lebanon, including data entry, typing jobs, online teaching and tutoring, and other freelance jobs, are usually posted on general job boards and freelance platforms rather than found through a single app. Sites such as LinkedIn, Indeed and Glassdoor list remote and work-from-home positions that companies post directly, while platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr and Freelancer connect freelancers with clients looking for specific skills.

Online teaching and tutoring jobs usually ask for a subject you know well and a stable internet connection for video calls, often through tools like Zoom. Data entry and typing jobs usually ask for accuracy and comfort with basic software such as Excel or Google Sheets. Freelance writing, design and virtual assistant work are also common searches, and a simple portfolio or sample of past work helps when applying for any of them.

Building an online presence can also open doors. Some freelancers find clients through content on YouTube, TikTok or Instagram, or by networking in Facebook groups for remote workers. None of this replaces a proper job search, but it can bring in extra requests over time.

What online part-time work usually looks like

Online part-time jobs in Lebanon tend to fall into a few groups: freelance tasks paid per project, ongoing remote roles with fixed hours, and smaller reward-based activities that fill spare time rather than replace a job. It helps to decide early which one fits your schedule, since a freelance contract and an hour of surveys in the evening are not the same kind of work.

• Freelance platforms: project-based work found through sites like Upwork, Fiverr or Freelancer.
• Remote employment: ongoing roles posted on job boards such as LinkedIn or Indeed.
• Reward sites: surveys and offers completed in spare time for small rewards, not a wage.

How PocketsFull fits into this picture

PocketsFull is an online rewards site, not a job and not an employer. Members in Lebanon take paid surveys, complete offers, many of them game and app offers, and collect rewards that they redeem afterwards. Joining and using PocketsFull is free: there is no registration fee, and PocketsFull never asks for a deposit or a payment to take part.

Surveys are market-research questionnaires from survey providers, and a completed survey adds its reward to your balance. Survey providers look for specific profiles, so being screened out before the end of a survey happens to everyone from time to time. Keeping your profile complete, accurate and up to date helps you get matched with more surveys that actually fit you.

Offers are tasks from partners, such as trying an app or a game and reaching the steps the offer lists, or signing up for a service. Each offer on the Offers page shows its own steps and its own reward, and some offers take between 7 and 30 days to confirm before the reward appears, since the partner checks and confirms it first.

PocketsFull also has a separate free-games page with free browser games that need no download and no sign-up. These are for fun and do not pay rewards, unlike the game offers on the Offers page.

How members in Lebanon get paid

When you redeem your balance on PocketsFull, you see a set of payout options built for your account, and the options shown depend on your country.

In Lebanon, members can see local gift cards, such as Qanz, Razer Gold, Steam or PlayStation depending on the catalogue, alongside PayPal and Litecoin. A redeemed gift card is sent to the email address registered on the account.

Other payment apps and wallets that are not listed on the redeem screen are not a payout option on PocketsFull.

Staying safe while looking for online work

• No legitimate job or rewards site ever asks you to pay a fee to start.
• Be careful with job posts that promise a large income for very little work.
• Use one account per person: duplicate accounts, fake details or VPNs to fake a location can lead to a restricted or suspended account on reward sites.
• Keep personal and banking details private until you are sure a client or platform is genuine.
