1. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase, holding, and redemption of the super.Gift digital gift code (“super.Gift”) generated by Razorpay Technologies Private Limited (“Razorpay” or “we” or “us”). By purchasing, receiving, or redeeming a super.Gift, you (“User” or “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. In these Terms: “SuperGift Code” means the unique alphanumeric code or digital identifier associated with each super.Gift; “Gift PPI” means the gift prepaid payment instrument issued by Issuer to a User following successful verification of a SuperGift Code; “Merchant” means a retail establishment, brand, or online platform at which a super.Gift may be redeemed; and “Face Value” means the monetary value associated with a super.Gift at the time of issuance, denominated in Indian Rupees (INR).
3. super.Gift is a digital code made available under the SuperGift Code program. It is not itself a prepaid payment instrument (“PPI”), a gift card, or a means of payment, and cannot be used directly to purchase goods or services from any merchant.
4. When a super.Gift is redeemed at an eligible Merchant, the code entered is verified by us or our service providers. Upon verification, a gift prepaid payment instrument (“Gift PPI”) of equivalent face value is issued to the User by Razorpay Technologies Private Limited or Pine Labs Limited (each an “Issuer”). The relevant Issuer is solely responsible for the issuance, activation, loading, and redemption of each Gift PPI.
5. The Gift PPI issued upon redemption is a separate regulated instrument governed by its own terms and conditions as determined by the relevant Issuer and applicable RBI regulations. The User’s use of the Gift PPI is subject to those terms.
6. The purchase of super.Gift against cash, e-wallets, international transactions, or cryptocurrency (including payment transfers from outside India) is strictly prohibited, and all payments must be made in Indian Rupees (INR).
7. The Face Value of any single super.Gift shall not exceed ₹10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only).
8. Once purchased, a super.Gift cannot be cancelled by the User. Any cancellations shall be at the sole discretion of Razorpay.
9. There is no fee or additional charge payable by the User in connection with the purchase of a super.Gift, unless otherwise disclosed at the time of purchase.
10. super.Gift codes may be redeemed exclusively at Merchants listed by Issuer(s) or communicated at the time of purchase. The super.Gift code itself cannot be redeemed for cash or credit under any circumstances, and cannot be used to purchase other gift cards, gift vouchers, or prepaid payment instruments.
11. Each super.Gift code is valid for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of issuance, or such other period as may be communicated at the time of purchase or as prescribed by the RBI.
12. Any unredeemed super.Gift shall lapse upon the expiry of the validity period. Users are advised to redeem their super.Gift prior to the expiry date.
13. super.Gift is a single-use, non-reloadable code. Once the SuperGift Code has been successfully verified and a Gift PPI has been issued, the code is fully consumed and cannot be reused.
14. super.Gift cannot be resold, transferred for consideration, or exchanged through any unauthorised platform, secondary marketplace, or social media group.
15. Use of super.Gift is restricted to transactions within India. Cross-border or international transactions are not permitted.
16. The eligible Merchant list and corresponding terms are determined by the respective Issuers and may be added to, revised, withdrawn, suspended, or replaced from time to time.
17. Razorpay is not responsible for any act of omission or commission if a super.Gift or SuperGift Code is lost, stolen, or used without the User’s permission. Once delivered, the User is responsible for keeping the SuperGift Code confidential, and neither Razorpay nor its service providers or distributors shall be liable, nor will any refund be issued, for misuse arising from loss of such confidential details attributable to the User.
18. By purchasing or using a super.Gift, the User agrees to comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and shall not use the super.Gift for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorised purpose, including money laundering, financing of terrorism, tax evasion, or any activity prohibited under applicable law.
19. The User shall provide accurate and complete information and cooperate with any additional KYC, AML, or regulatory documentation requested by the Issuers or applicable authorities.
20. Razorpay may cancel a super.Gift if it is found to have been purchased by fraudulent means or through unauthorised third-party vendors, social media groups, or secondary marketplaces, or used in any manner constituting abuse or inconsistent with these Terms.
21. The Issuers may temporarily suspend or block the redemption of super.Gift codes where suspicious activity, multiple failed verification attempts, or potential fraud is detected. Users must immediately report any suspected unauthorised use by contacting Razorpay customer support at https://supergc.super.money/.
22. In the event of any security breach or incident relating to information security on the systems used for super.Gift transactions, affected parties shall be notified in accordance with applicable law and the Issuer’s security breach notification policies.
23. Issuers and their service providers assume no responsibility for the quality, safety, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or legality of any products or services purchased using a Gift PPI obtained through a super.Gift. Any liability in connection with the products or services lies solely with the respective Merchant.
24. Neither Issuers nor their service providers shall be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, business, revenue, goodwill, or anticipated savings, arising out of or in connection with the purchase, non-delivery, or use of a super.Gift, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
25. The aggregate liability of the Issuers and their service providers in connection with any super.Gift shall in no event exceed the Face Value of the relevant super.Gift that is the subject of the claim.
26. Issuers and their service providers shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including acts of God, war, pandemics, failure of telecommunications or banking infrastructure, or the action or inaction of any governmental or regulatory authority. Except as expressly set forth in these Terms, no representations or warranties, whether express or implied, are made in relation to the super.Gift, including any implied warranties of merchantability, non-infringement, or fitness for a particular purpose.
27. The Issuers and their service providers may be required to share information relating to the purchase or use of super.Gift with the RBI, law enforcement, or other regulatory authorities as required under applicable law, including applicable PPI regulations and KYC/AML requirements. For details on how personal data is collected, used, stored, and protected, please refer to the respective Issuer’s Privacy Policy available on their websites.
28. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding their existence, validity, or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
29. Razorpay reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms at any time, with or without prior notice; updated Terms will be published by Razorpay and take effect from the date of publication, and continued use of a super.Gift thereafter shall constitute the User’s acceptance of such updated Terms.
